FABA MEMBERS. Please note that we are having some problems with how PayPal and our Membership management program (Wild Apricot) are communicating with regards to membership and renewals. The links do take you to PayPal and your payment is credited appropriately. However, the API that communicates from PayPal to Wild Apricot has stopped working. We have determined the cause of the original interruption in that communication and addressed it, but the COVID adjustments made by PayPal and Wild Apricot have made it very difficult to get the final link re-established (for one example, there are no human-to-human service phone calls at present (or for three months for that matter. Chat boxes have not been able to get us the support we need.) So, at the moment, PayPal will acknowledge your payment but the membership program will still show you as needing to renew in some cases. The treasurer is going in and manually updating each transaction to 'renew' your membership information, but as he has a life like the rest of you, he is doing this about once per week. So please be patient and if you get an "unpaid" notice or a follow-up renewal notice, wait about a week and see if it is corrected. Or just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be answered within a day. We are working to not only correct this issue but to provide better service moving forward. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
